Daniel Reuland, MD, MPH

Principal Investigator

Dr. Reuland is a professor of medicine at the UNC School of Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine and Clinical Epidemiology. He directs the Carolina Cancer Screening Initiative at the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, collaborating with a team of researchers working to enhance our understanding of how to make cancer screening more appropriate, effective, patient-centered, and equitable. He recently completed a multi-site, clinical trial funded by an American Cancer Society Research Scholar Grant testing a colorectal cancer screening intervention in safety net care settings in North Carolina and New Mexico. He also directs an initiative to improve translational research for Latinx populations at UNC’s North Carolina Translational and Clinical Sciences Institute.
